An exciting opportunity to join a leading manufacturer and distributorAn excellent salary, training and career prospectsAbout Our ClientA leading manufacturer and distributor based in West Bromwich, with various brands based across four sites in the UK that import raw materials from around the globe.Job DescriptionThe role of Import Coordinator in West Bromwich will involve:Managing shipments and quotes for transport modes - air, sea, and land.Using the system and keeping information and quoting up to date.Managing all relevant paperwork.Liaising with suppliers and customers.Planning to ensure adequate resources are available.Cost savings.Coordinating customs entry and declarations.The Successful ApplicantThe successful Import Coordinator candidate will have:The ability to liaise with suppliers and other external stakeholders.A background in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain, including freight.Previous experience working in fast-paced environments.Excellent IT (particularly Excel and Powerpoint).What's on OfferThe role of Import Coordinator benefits from:An excellent salary of £28,000-£35,000 (depending on experience).
