Import Coordinator

Import Coordinator - Tilbury - Up to �35,000

Our client, who are a freight forwarding operation are looking for an Import Coordinator to join their growing team in Tilbury.

As Import Coordinator, you will be tasked to support the company in helping its customers with all its Import requirements.

Job type: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday (Apply online only)hrs

Salary: Up to �35,000

Responsibilities:

• Communicating our various customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors such as shipping lines, hauliers and depots.
• Raising internal files
• Raising Invoices
• Passing supplier invoices and querying where necessary
• Checking vessel arrivals
• Arranging collections and deliveries, making sure to meet customer deadlines.
• Following up after delivery to ensure the customer was happy and find out if there was anything else that we could look after for them.

Essentials:

• Proven successful track record of at least two years working for a small to medium-sized freight forwarder.
• Experience in CDS and Destin8.
• Knowledge on Multi-freight would be beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and friendly personality.
• Competent using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
