Import Clerk

A Freight Forwarding organisation are seeking a Import Clerk to join their team in Basildon.

Responsibilities;
Providing customer service to overseas partners
Focusing on Ocean Freight services
Liaise regularly with overseas partners
Checking paperwork via EDI
Processing import jobs from bookings to deliveries
Completing customs clearance for clients
Working alongside the commercial team
Provide transport companies with information to ensure delivery requirements are met
Ensure filed are costed and invoiced
Assist with insurance claims
Skills Required;
Ocean freight knowledge
Experience completing import shipment documentation
Good communication skills
Excellent team player
