We are working with a successful financial services organisation in Altrincham to recruit for an IFA Administrator to join their growing administration function.

Description

As IFA Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing new business for advisers/planners, completing trades/fund switches, liaising with product providers and ensuring new business is administered correctly
  • Administration support for valuations, transfers and client reviews in preparation for client meetings
  • Liaising with client and advisers with updates, changes and all matters relating to their financial matters
  • Maintaining the accuracy of client data on the system, ensuring all compliance regulations are being met
  • Invoicing clients for work completed
  • Providing policy documents to client where appropriate
  • Providing administration support to advisers following meetings with clients with agreed timescales
  • Highlighting breaches or complaints to the Compliance Manager as quick as possible

Profile

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Previous experience working in an IFA or financial planning firm
  • Knowledge of financial products and funds
  • Experience of report writing, valuations and appraisals would be ideal
  • Strong administration skill set
  • Great communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Up to date with current FCA Legislation would be ideal
  • Relevant qualifications include Certificate in Financial Services/Planning
