Description
As IFA Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Processing new business for advisers/planners, completing trades/fund switches, liaising with product providers and ensuring new business is administered correctly
- Processing transfers, top ups, withdrawals, income, contributions, fund switches, Bed & ISA and Protection in an accurate manner through to completion
- Administration support for valuations, transfers and client reviews in preparation for client meetings
- Liaising with client and advisers with updates, changes and all matters relating to their financial matters
- Maintaining the accuracy of client data on the system, ensuring all compliance regulations are being met
- Providing policy documents to client where appropriate
- Providing administration support to advisers following meetings with clients with agreed timescales
- Highlighting breaches or complaints to the Compliance Manager as quick as possible
Profile
The successful applicant for this role must have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working in an IFA or financial planning firm
- Knowledge of whole of market
- Strong administration skill set
- Great communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Up to date with current FCA Legislation would be ideal
- Intelligent Office experience is desirable
