The School and Role

This reputable Secondary school located in West Derby, Liverpool seeks a dynamic and enthusiastic Computing and IT Teacher to join their team. The role entails teaching KS3 - KS4 levels and collaborating with an experienced faculty. This is a full-time position, commencing after Easter 2024, and continuing until the academic year's conclusion. Ideal candidates will possess prior experience in teaching Computing and IT up to KS4.  This school was established in 1922 and provides a broad and enlightening education to children from the ages of 11 to 18. The school prides themselves on their academic and pastoral success believing their staff and students are equally cared for. This school was rated 'Good' in their last Ofsted inspection and was commended for their cohesive work between different departments so students can make cross subjects links.

Requirements

The desired Teacher will have;

-          Hold QTS in the UK

-          Experience of working with KS3 and KS4 levels

-          Confidence in teaching the current curriculum

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
