Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an ICT Teacher to work in a Secondary school in Preston. This is a full-time teaching role starting in April 2024



About the role

The desired IT Teacher will be responsible for implementing and delivering an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for ICT and Computing to students age 11 – 16, including GCSE ICT.

This role is to cover a resignation and will start April 2024 and will run on a temporary basis till July 2024. There will be an option to transfer to a permanent contract from September 2024.

This role would be suitable for both NQTs and experienced Teachers.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of ICT Teacher you will:



  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Or have recent experience of teaching within a Secondary School
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Teachers.
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.


Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:



  • Hold QTS
