ICT Security Lead

Opus People Solutions are seeking an IT Security Lead in the heart of Milton Keynes.

The IT Cyber Security Lead will oversee security, compliance and risk management for the organisation using specific frameworks.

Initially you will be office based during your first 3 months training, moving onto hybrid there after.

You will have a minimum of 2 years experience working within a security framework within a medium/large sized organisation and ready to take the step up. Any relevant qualifications is a big plus!

Role Responsibilities:

• To take a risk-based approach to securing data and systems assessing all new and known risks, identifying mitigating or corrective action, and ensuring all related risk information is kept up to date

• To produce security policies covering acceptable and secure use of services and build collaborative staff training practises, systems that maintain cyber risk awareness

• To manage service asset information throughout each asset's lifecycle identifying potential security risks or gaps that affect each one

• To create and define security baseline builds (standard's) for services and configuration items, along with ensuring those standards are maintained by carrying out regular assessments reporting on identified vulnerabilities

• To establish effective management processes that controls who or what can access systems and data along with limiting the number of privileged system accounts.
