YOUR NEW ROLE
An opportunity has arisen to join our finance team as an Insurance Broking Accounting (IBA) Accounts Executive. You will be responsible for administering and servicing client and underwriter accounts in accordance with the Best Practice Manual and IBA procedures.
Key responsibilities will include:
Credit control (including monthly statement rendering)
Reconciling and allocating multi-currency cash receipts
Raising of payment requests for settlement of claims and premiums
Resolution of queries (internal & external)
Reconciliation of accounts
Aged debt management
Ensuring legal, market, regulatory and Best Practice Manual requirements are met
High technical standards are maintained at all times
Ad hoc support where required
ABOUT YOU
Experience with a Broker, Underwriter or bureaux in a similar role
Previous experience within IBA Accounts working in an FCA regulated environment
Good attention to detail to be able to ensure accurate and precise accounting records
Good IT literacy skills (Excel)
