Owen Payne Recruitment are seeking an experienced Night Shift Hygiene Supervisor to join a leading agricultural client located the Telford area.

Due to the nature of this role, previous experience as a Hygiene Supervisor is essential.

Duties of a Night shift Hygiene Supervisor

• To ensure that H&S procedures are adhered to at all times
• To adhere to regulations regarding the control and safe use chemicals
• To organise and supervise hygiene team to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed
• To monitor hygiene standards in all areas are up to standard
• To complete hygiene documentation and audits
• To ensure all staff training documentations is up to date
• To supervise, lead and develop members of hygiene team
• To ensure the correct PPE is available and worn correctly
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Complete all day-to-day duties of the Hygiene Manager in their absence

Candidate Requirements - Essential:

• Previous experience in a Team Leader role
• Experience with cleaning chemicals, good chemical knowledge
• Previous experience within food industry
• Strong knowledge of hygiene protocols, standards, and regulations of FMCG
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to train, motivate, and lead a team

Candidate Requirements - Desirable:

• Experience within Hygiene department
• COSHH

Hours of work:

• Night shift
• 21:00 – 07:00
• Night shift rota Saturday through Friday

Salary:

• £24 000 - £33 000 pa (DOE)
