We are looking for someone who is:
Hydrogen system Architecture (Aerospace)
Location: Belfast, UK
Skills:
Experience in the architectural development of hydrogen systems
Experience in Design and/or integration of fuel cells, cooling systems for Fuel Cells, Power electronics, Balance of Plant into hydrogen energy systems for powertrains
Working knowledge of thermal management solutions such as heat pumps and phase change cooling for batteries or other energy storage systems
Working experience in safety analysis of H2 systems integration (fuel cell, cooling systems, hydrogen tanks), using tools like DFMEA and PFMEA to develop test plans
Proficiency with CAD systems like CATIA, Siemens NX or SolidWorks will be highly regarded, as well as experience with FEA and CFD packages like ANSYS, Nastran/Patran or FLUENT (CFD)
Knowledge of thermal management solutions such as heat pumps and phase change cooling for batteries or other energy storage systems
Strong hold on aircraft design and impact upon fuel systems architectural development and vice versa
Experience of working within an R&D environment with a focus on delivery to industry
Education: Degree qualified in Engineering/science subject
Experience: 15-20 years experience
