Hydraulic Systems Engineer
In this role, you'll design a range of bespoke hydraulic systems for specialist vehicles.
Overview of the role:
You would provide design support for hydraulic schematics, specify components, manage systems, support testing, ensure compliance, provide production assistance, and maintain BOMs. The company is looking to implement standardisation of designs, so you would play a key part in this process.
Skills & Knowledge required:
NVQ Level 3/HNC in engineering or related field
Hydraulic training: Advantageous from NPFC, Bath University, or equivalent
Experience: Project lifecycle experience is essential
Hydraulic systems: Design, development, and implementation
Open loop, closed loop hydraulic systems, proportional control, load sensing systems, pump controls required
Interpretation of hydraulic circuits, communication, problem-solving, teamwork necessary
Microsoft Office, relevant CAD software
Familiarity with pneumatics, electronics, water, and vacuum systems advantageous
Solidworks preferred; pneumatics experience desirable
