We are seeking dynamic Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists & Paramedics for the DWP's Personal Independence Payment service. You will be using your broad-based medical experience and clinical knowledge to conduct independent health assessments and writing reports.

This role is home-based, with a minimum of one office visit per week.  

As a Disability Assessor, you'll have the opportunity to:


  • Apply your extensive medical background and clinical expertise in conducting paper-based reviews and independent health assessments, generating reports for the DWP.
  • Utilize critical reasoning skills, drawing on clinical experience to ensure a positive, dignified, and professional assessment process.

Salary: Commencing at £35k, rising to £36k after 6 months and £37k after 12 months, with an additional annual 10% performance-related bonus.

Requirements:


  • A minimum of one year's post NMC/HCPC registration Clinical broad-based experience with individuals aged 16 to 64.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good IT skills.
