City FM was established in 1985 and the company has grown to become one of the world’s largest privately held, integrated FM companies.Job purpose:The HVAC Supervisor is crucial to the delivery of PPM, Reactive and testing workstreams whilst supporting with technical assistance to all maintenance teams across the estate. This role will require you to supervise, influence and build strong relationships with the customer, internal teams and regional HVAC technicians.The role is responsible for effectively leading and managing the HVAC teams to ensure reactive and planned works are completed to the highest standard and adhere to all regulatory standards. This role will also be responsible for overseeing all technical standards within the operation. To be a technical expert and key account holder for Fgas ensuring maintenance of our obligations to ensure our ongoing membership, in addition to supporting and guiding engineers through any training.All work will need to be completed in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the laid down Company Health and Safety policies.Key responsibilities include:Comply with health and safety legislation and company processes.Complete specified reports and compliance documentation and act on any issues raised.Provide technical support and coaching to HVAC technicians.Participate in the recruitment and selection process of technician vacancies.Ensure under performance on KPI’s is understood and action plans are in place to drive improvement.Support divisional operations manager on all technical, people and FM process issues.Ensure that all sites are covered for maintenance services, including reactive and PPM.Audit FM documentation and action on any non-compliance issues.Deal promptly with all Help desk calls and ensure that the issues are resolved effectively, escalating where necessary to the appropriate management level.Regularly communicate with the customer on all FM activity.Candidates background and qualifications:SVQ/NVQ level 3 within heating/ventilation/mechanical equivalent qualification.ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1/1A as a minimumACS Domestic Gas Qualifications CCN, CENWAT, CPA as a minimumCity and Guilds 7671 18th EditionUnderstanding of all regulations relevant to the HVAC industryStrong PC literacy to include Microsoft word, excel and PowerPointAbility to extract, collate and present dataExcellent planning, organising, prioritisation and project management skillsIn depth knowledge of HVAC systemsInterested candidates should forward their CV to Andrew Bridges at PDA SEARCH & SELECTION LIMITEDFind a Job
