Job Title: HVAC Engineer

Salary: �43,000

Location: Leeds

Shift Pattern: 45 hours, Monday - Friday

Are you an experienced HVAC Engineer seeking a rewarding opportunity in Leeds? We have an exciting permanent position available with a global facilities management. As an HVAC Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in planned and reactive maintenance across multiple commercial site locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timelines and ensure accurate completion of all required paperwork in accordance with established procedures.
  • Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk. Assess job requirements and carry out necessary repairs.
  • Follow established procedures for ordering spares.
  • Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly communicate findings to the Line Manager, providing recommendations for suitable replacements.
  • Maintain up-to-date compliance documentation.
  • Perform minor alterations and installations within your technical competence, adhering to current specifications.
  • Attend training courses as necessary to stay current with technical developments and ensure your job skills remain up to date.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 City & Guilds/NVQ in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
  • Minimum educational qualification to GCSE / Standard Grade level.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality repairs and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in working efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
