Alecto Recruitment is working with a UK leading Multi Utility connections provider. A leading business who specialise within new connections and infrastructure projects nationally.

Due to their continued growth, they are looking to hire a HV High Voltage Estimator.

Salary:

• �60,000 - �70,000 + Package
• Hybrid working available

The Position:

• The Estimator is responsible for the timely production of detailed pricing of High Voltage (HV) & Extra High voltage (EHV) tenders and quotes up to 132KV.
• This will require compilation of accurate estimates from mainly first principle methods for multi discipline works, including labour, plant, equipment, materials and sub-contract requirements
• Preparation of tenders and quotations from specifications and drawings within defined time period
• Preparation of tenders and quotations from DNO point of connection offers

Requirements:

• Detailed understanding of DNO / ICP type clients drivers and needs which included the regulatory framework they operate under
• Experienced engineer with a proven track record in providing technical solutions and costing for an electrical and civil engineering environment up to 132KV on private and / or regulated DNO networks.
• Commercial acumen
• Excellent team working, financial and organisational skills
