Electrical Engineer / Gas (COMAH facility) / Cheshire / £70k + benefits
The chance to join a highly profitable world-renowned company as a part of their Gas Plant in the Cheshire area.
With core principles around integrity and ethics, this is a business that supports the long-term ambitions of communities and its staff. I know several people within the business and most of which tend to be with the company long term which means they must be doing something right as staff turnover has never been an issue.
This business is also trying to provide a better work life balance for their staff. Not only is hybrid work available but if you choose to opt-in, you can also work a 9-day fortnight – long weekend / 3-day weekend every 2 weeks.
The role: There is a particular need for expertise and knowledge of HV Electrical Systems (11kv – 132kv). Preferably, we are looking for a site duty holder but someone with a solid understanding of HV systems in accordance with overseeing transformers, switchgear, MCC’s and ancillary equipment for the various voltage ranges will be considered. Due to the nature of the site, the ideal candidate will come from a Power or heavy process manufacturing / COMAH facility. For this reason, you will also need to understand DSEAR and ATEX regulations.
Training is paramount to the business as they like to remain ahead of the curve, so this is also an opportunity to progress and better yourself.
UK experience is a must due to the nature of the work and accompanying regulations.
