Humanities Teacher – SEN School – Newham

We are seeking to appoint a Humanities Teacher for our innovative and forward-thinking special school that caters for students between the ages of 5 and 16.
We are looking for a qualified Humanities Teacher to teach the curriculum to a high standard. The successful applicant will be working collaboratively with other specialist teachers, professionals and parents in order to provide personalised and highly effective teaching for all our pupils.
This Humanities Teacher role is suitable for experienced teachers looking to develop their career further in special education. The successful candidate will have a positive and proactive approach to SEN and will be able to embrace the changes and challenges that come with specialist education, especially for those with a range of SEMH needs.

Person Specification – Humanities Teacher
• Must have UK QTS
• Experience with children with SEMH needs is desirable
• Able to deliver stimulating lessons in Citizenship, Geography, History
