Humanities Teacher

This Tipton based school are looking for a humanities teacher to join their vibrant department for their Key stage 3 and 4 (KS3 and KS4) students to deliver one (or more) of the following subjects:
Geography
History
RE
Responsibilities for the Humanities Teacher role
Deliver humanities lessons to KS3 and KS4 classes
Full planning, marking and assessment required.
Reporting pupil progress against targets/action plans
Work with Head of Department to plan lessons.
Build relationships with the pupils, parents, and staff.
Attend CPD relevant to the role – whole staff and SLT meetings.
Required skills and experience for the Humanities Teacher role
Experience in teaching humanities in upper school
Must have the relevant teacher status: QTS / ECT's (formerly NQTs) are encouraged to apply.
Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication skills.

Previous humanities Teacher experience.

Competitive salary- Day rate of £153.84 to £211.96 (dependant on experience) which equates to £30,000 to £41,332 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
