GSL Education invites applications for the position of Humanities Teacher in a dynamic secondary school in North Shields, Tyne and Wear. This role is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled and passionate teacher to inspire students in the subjects of History, Geography, and RE.

About the Role:


  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Humanities lessons across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on the progress of students.
  • Create a stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity about the world.
  • Participate in and contribute to the school’s programme of extra-curricular activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge and pedagogy.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • A degree in a Humanities subject or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Humanities in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and engage students.
  • Commitment to the school's ethos and vision.
