Job Description:

We seek a dedicated Humanities Teacher to deliver engaging lessons in history, geography, social studies, and literature to Key Stages 3 and 4 students. Your role will involve adapting teaching methods, fostering positive relationships, and managing classroom behaviour effectively.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Experience teaching humanities subjects at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.


• Experience in a PRU or with students with additional needs is a plus.


• Strong classroom management and communication skills.


• Commitment to safeguarding young people.

Key Skills:

• Subject Expertise: Deep knowledge of history, geography, literature, and social studies.


• Classroom Management: Ability to create a positive learning environment and manage student behavior effectively.


• Lesson Planning: Skilled in designing engaging and comprehensive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
