Regional Deployment Lead (HR Project Manager)
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000
Location: Leeds preferably/ London, wider UK FTSE100
We are seeking a Regional Deployment Lead to join our People Services Transformation team. If you are passionate about leading change and thrive in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you.
In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the deployment of the HRIS and Payroll solution across a specific region. This role involves seamless collaboration with local teams, ensuring effective implementation, and fostering user adoption. Beyond leading the deployment process, you will provide crucial support, resolve issues, and serve as the Risk coordinator for the region. Your duties extend to maintaining project plans, tracking progress, and producing status reports. You will take proactive measures to ensure the timely delivery of activities, all while contributing to a consistent alignment with the overarching project goals.
Key Skills and Experience
In-depth Programme management experience: Certified in Project Management is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively in a complex, matrixed organisation
Experience in Workday deployment including testing, cutover, integrations, and data; any other HR tool is a minimal requirement.
Functional HCM experience preferable or previous HCM project manager/implementation.
Knowledge of enterprise IT.
Knowledge of HR processes and systems, with hands-on experience in HR platforms such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, Ceridian, etc.
Coordination skills.
Strong communication and influencing skills.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the regional deployment of the HRIS and Payroll solution.
Take necessary action to assure a timely delivery of activities and milestones, regardless of who is action owner.
Lead and facilitate training sessions for local teams.
Conduct regular assessments to ensure the effectiveness of deployed solutions.
Collaborate with the Change Management team to address region-specific change needs.
Collaborate with local teams to ensure effective implementation and user adoption.
Provide support and guidance to resolve deployment-related issues.
Ensure consistency and alignment with the overall project goals.
Communicate progress updates and challenges to the project leadership.
Act as Risk coordinator for the region.
Maintain the regional project plan and track progress.
Manage the regional Project Action/Decision (AD) log(s) and track/chase the actions.
Produce a weekly regional status report to PMO.
