About you.......
You will have experience of working within HR either at Management or Advisor level within a manufacturing environment. Ideally holding CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) with experience of managing recruitment, handling employment relations queries, absence management and have a good level of Employment Law knowledge. Experience of working within a unionised environment would be advantageous.
You will be a strong communicator and be able to provide HR guidance and advice to all stakeholders.
What you will be doing......
This is a stand alone HR role reporting into the Managing Director. You will lead the HR function of the company and have overall responsibility for every element of HR. From administrating the day to day activities of the department to handling complex HR queries and help to drive change within the company.
Key tasks are:-
Manage the complete recruitment process from initial advertising to successful onboarding of new team members.
Support Managers with employee relations, absence management and performance management situations.
Identify training and development needs and design development plans accordingly.
Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to and policies and procedures are reviewed updated according to Employment Law changes.
Manage and lead the Company’s personal development review (PDR) process.
Management of Personnel files in line with GDPR.
Lead the Company in maintaining Investors in People accreditation
Manage all Occupational Heath requirements of the business
Lead the Company's employee engagement plan
Manage the Company's reward and recognition strategy and talent development / acquisition

Proficiency in data management and best practice in the production of HR analytics

Ability to communicate and influence across all levels.

A professional and commercial approach to HR, confidence and competence in decision making, and the tenacity to drive change.

08.30 to 17.00 Monday to Thursday & 08.30 to 14.00 Friday
·
28 days holiday + bank holidays
