Job Description
The Role:
As part of our continued evolution, we have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Human Resources Manager to join the business on a part time basis (Ideally 30 hours per week, with one day working from home). But despite being a part-time role, this position is absolutely key to our future strategic business success and you will be a valued part of the leadership team, with a clear remit and full ownership of your area of expertise.

This role will focus primarily on all our employee relations, transactional HR and people operations activities, working alongside the Talent Manager who looks after Talent Acquisition and L&D. It's an excellent opportunity to reshape a growing HR function, whilst specialising in the business impact of employment legislation, compliance and communication.
The HR Manager will take the lead in developing, evolving, and implementing HR strategies, initiatives and processes that align with the overall business strategy. To be successful in the role you should have a strong interest in developing staff, be naturally good at identifying people matters, finding solutions, and nurturing employee satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Manage all day-to-day people related operations and strategy including policy, processes, people initiatives, employee relations, etc.
Develop, implement, and monitor HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Develop office culture and review policies and procedures, to ensure best practice and supporting] the company's strategy and direction
Provide practical support on employee relations issues and nurture a positive working environment
Maintain sickness and holiday records for office staff, and proactively manage any issues
Support the development, maintenance, implementation, and usage of staff benefits and perks
Take ownership of our HR admin system to ensure it is accurate and up to date, providing data and accurate reporting to the management team
Collaborate with individual departments and Company heads to embed and enhance suitable performance processes
Drive our talent review process from annual objective setting & reviews, through to talent and career management in participation with our Talent Manager
Prepare and manage all personnel administration related to payroll, pension, reward, communication, ER issues, etc
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
Requirements:
A minimum of a CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
At least 5 years or more of experience in an HR position within a growing business environment
People oriented and results driven
Strong employment relations experience (ER)
Demonstrable experience with HR data, metrics and reporting
Ability to manage employee remuneration and incentive systems
A solid understanding of employment and contractual law
Interest in people development
Excellent interpersonal, listening and negotiation skills
Organizational and decision-making skills
A dynamic part of a high-performing team
Problem-solving skills
Capacity for change and flexibility

The company is currently undergoing an exciting digital transformation programme and has recently rolled out a new e-commerce platform across UK and Europe with further plans to expand to the US.
