UK & Ireland HR Manager – A brilliant opportunity within this wonderful International SME with a modern local feel in Dartford.

A Senior Human Resources position for an all-round commercial & HR professional, someone with excellent communication and leadership skills who wants to make a difference and be rewarded superbly! Phenomenal company benefits and industry sector – Negotiable salary level – Looking to ideally secure someone with a big picture mentality, locally based:

circa £65,000 - £75,000 basic, with a car allowance and a £10,000 company bonus structure

Manage 1 member of the HR team and support a diverse work force of circa 80+

Key requirements:




  • Commutable to Dartford daily

  • Min CIPD level 5

  • Good stability in a similar SME HR manager role (5 years plus)

  • Leadership personality, character and some experience

  • Ability to manage up and down and communicate within the International Group

  • Support the Commercial Director in the UK & Ireland & get involved in some aspects of the business outside of HR remit

  • 1 months’ notice or less

  • Strong organiser and efficient with exceptional attention to detail



ROLE:

This role would suit someone with proven experience in HR Management looking to take the next, ideally, we’re looking for a candidate who has been involved in the kinds of businesses that have specific regulations and compliancy requirements and are audited - manufacturing, scientific, food, health / social care.

The Role:



You will act as business partner to management evaluate, advise and provide operational solutions for the needs and goals of this business, translate this into people and talent implications and actions. Deliver high quality HR support to line managers and employees to add maximum value to the business.



The Person:




  • Excellent HR management experience and qualifications

  • Experienced in working in a multinational environment and ability to work within a diverse and cross-functional team.

  • Knowledge and understanding of employment laws and regulations.

  • Great communication, able to effectively offer understanding and empathy in difficult situations, whilst always delivering the required message

  • Confident user of HR software to create reports and analyse data

  • Able to use HR Software to create reports and analyse data to measure against Company and HR KPI’s

  • Can provide training, create and implement policies and procedure and work towards creating a positive company culture

  • Have knowledge of a regulated environment and the implications on HR procedures.



The Day to Day:




  • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies, initiatives and systems aligned with the overall corporate business strategy;

  • Provide managers the support necessary to deliver recruitment and selection plans that meet the business needs, based on required staff, competency and budget.

  • Support current and future business needs through the development of our employees

  • Engage, motivate and manage internal talent

  • Review retention plans across the site and overall business;

  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs;

  • Support the HR functional teams (i.e. talent acquisition, compensation, etc.) with large scale HR initiatives and annual processes.

  • Provide front line response to employee relation issues through independent governance/observation of grievance, disciplinary and redundancy proceedings

  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management and manage properly

  • Cooperation with internal and external stakeholders

  • Monitoring of HR-relevant internal and external audits.
