Read more here.Working at WintermuteWe are seeking an HR Lead who would take on the ownership of the HR/People function including HR processes and operations. Wintermute has strong values on culture, management styles and views on performance assessment. We are looking for a person who would share those values and would be enthusiastic to help us scale those in our journey of growing the company by at least 20% in terms of headcount. This is owner-executor role, meaning the responsibilities range from working on strategic HR related projects to being very hands on with all sort of HR operations.ResponsibilitiesScaling and operationalizing company’s values and ways of doing business to make sure those are distilled throughout the organization and enable it’s effective runningInitiate and execute various initiatives and improvements that help in distilling the culture and values that are important to the organizationWork closely with the management and team leads to help them in management of their teamsOwning and executing HR operations: employee onboarding and lifecycle management, relating HR system management and documentation, work on payroll with finance, HR policies and liaising with employment lawyers as neededOwnership and execution of HR operations related to visas, relocation, etcInitiation and execution of improvement projects in relation to processes, automation, HR system efficiency etcOrganization and coordination of bi-annual performance and compensation review cyclesMaintain and increase already high morale by supporting employees in support of all of their needs, addressing and resolving individual employee questions or concerns if those ariseCoordinate various HR matters globally including coordination with Singapore office and management of remote employeesHard skills requirements Educated to a degree level (BSc/MSc)3-8 years of experience owning significant parts of the HR function in a high performing organization, such as a trading firm, fast growing technology company, consulting firm or similarEnthusiastic about Wintermute values and ways of doing business, enthusiastic about building and maintaining high performance environmentsStrong experience in several areas of HR such as performance review cycles, HR operations, compensation, employee initiatives, etc; willingness and ability to learn other areasOwnership mentality: doing whatever needs to be done to achieve the goals, from initiating improvements to effective execution of operational tasksConfidence with Excel/data sets and technology tools such as HR systemsGreat communication skills - clear, concise, empathetic, ability to speak with very different people (e.g. from deep technologists to MBA graduates) and understand different personalities and perspectives, ability to stay calm and balances even in high pressure situationsProven ability to see the bigger picture, commercial strategy, understand new functional areas quickly, and have a cross-functional mindsetJoin our dynamic team and benefit from:A unique opportunity to join one of the leading companies in digital asset space as a key member of the legal team and take on personal ownership and accountabilityVery varied and interesting projects across all law areas in the most dynamic finance industry: a level of learning and responsibilities as well as intellectual challenge that is hard for any law firm or traditional trading company/bank/hedge fund to matchCompany culture: informal, non-hierarchical, ambitious, highly professional yet dynamic, collaborative, entrepreneurial.Find out more: WebsiteTwitterLinkedinYoutubeView our open positions
