It is an exciting time to join MGAC.Our international team is looking to hire a Human Resources Generalist who can help support, shape, and enhance our business.The ideal candidate is happy to roll up their sleeves and is used to having a wide range of HR responsibilities, from payroll through to employee relations.Does this sound like you?5+ years proven experience in a Human Resources Generalist, Advisor, or similar roleExcellent communication skills, including the ability to listen and effectively verbalise ideasAbility to work across multiple tasks simultaneously, remain fluid, and reprioritise where necessaryAbility to practice and ensure strict confidentiality while performing dutiesOrganised, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for qualityLeadership skills to help support managers and motivate staffKnowledge of key employment law principlesHigh degree of concentration in a busy office, flexibility and an ability to thrive in an open work environmentBachelor's degree or above in Human Resources or a relevant field and/or CIPD qualifications preferredEnjoy working in an office environment full-time (this role will be based on site Mon-Fri in our London office near Liverpool St)What you'll be doing (and why you'll love it)Working collaboratively across the firm, you will be helping to unify over 100+ UK professionals across 4 different offices as part of a global and growing business. Duties include but are not limited to:Human Resource ManagementPrepare employment offers and contracts of employmentManage the employee onboarding/offboarding process to include new-employee inductions and exit
interviewsMaintain Human Resource Information System (HRIS) records and compile reports from the Firm’s databasesMaintain confidential personnel files and personnel actionsManage employee relations as a reliable business partnerMaintain Firm’s resource documents such as staff directory, guides, and other related materials. Arrange and administer work experience placements and interns where relevant, including annual In2STEM placementsAssist in managing the Firm’s DEI initiativesAssist in developing strategies to drive employee satisfaction and retentionEmployment LawMaintain compliance with employment and benefits laws and regulations and assist in any applicable compliance reporting requirementsEnsure compliance with Firm’s policies and procedures.Complete proof of Right to Work, DBS/PVG checks, and driving licence requirements as well as co-ordinate with H&S compliance across the offices.Manage data subject and other grievance related requests. Payroll & Benefit OperationsPrepare and process payroll.Manage, maintain, and process pension contributions. Assist with benefit administration including review of benefit providers Review benefits with employees and process enrolments, cancellations, or changesPerformance Management and Career DevelopmentSupport the performance management process, including annual reviewsHelp to develop and administer training initiativesWhy work with us?We are at an exciting stage of growth.
