My client is an innovative commercial law firm renowned for their ‘new law’ approach, they are now looking for a confident and experienced HR Assistant to step up to the role of a Human Resources Coordinator and join their busy London office on a permanent basis. This is a new role in the business, offering the opportunity to play a pivotal role in our HR management and onboarding experience. The Human Resources Coordinator will support the business growth strategy by focusing on providing a first-class onboarding & HR advisory service. The key duties will include:Updating and managing HR policies and procedures.Preparing all HR related correspondences including probation letters, promotion letters, salary review correspondences.Coordinating and managing the end-to-end onboarding process for both consultant lawyers and new employees to ensure an excellent and positive transition and induction.Supporting line managers/senior leadership team with ongoing performance review processes.Liaising with payroll in relation to salary queries.Supporting with HR employee lifecycle administration.Managing contractual paperwork for both and employed and consultancy teams.Managing the right to work, vetting and referencing processes.Supporting the development and implementation of employee engagement and wellbeing strategy.The Human Resources Coordinator will have HR generalist and onboarding experience ideally in a professional services environment. It is essential to possess excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills. The right candidate will possess strong communication and prioritising skills.
