Your new company
Our client is looking to add into their UK & EMEA HR function to enable a positive employee experience as they continue to grow in heads. Based in their office in central Oxford, you will be joining a team of experienced HR professionals in a culture that fosters collaboration, team work and problem-solving. This is a hybrid working position that will require you to work from the office 3x days per week. The office is located a short walk from Oxford train station and has plenty of public transport options.
Your new role
A typical week in your new role may include:
Being the first point of contact for new starters during their vetting, onboarding and new starter period
Support the talent acquisition team with recruitment by preparing contracts and offer letters and conducting vetting checks for offered candidates
Setting up new starters on the HR & Payroll system and scheduling their induction, probations and early stage training. You will also manage the probation completion process.
Ensure employee data is kept up to date and well maintained in the system
Assist with new starter training plans, collaborating with colleagues and managers
Support with visa applications ensuring compliance standards are met
Contribute to the ongoing development of the HR service by helping write guidelines and update process maps
What you'll need to succeed
Our client is looking for evidence that candidates have been working in a fast-paced and high-demand HR role for 12 months+. You will be a confident communicator when working with other areas of HR and other departments. It is crucial that you can work independently, as this is an incredibly busy environment where candidates need to hit the ground running. CIPD Level 3 would also be hugely advantageous.
