As an HR Business Partner at Drax Executive
You will be pivotal in aligning our People Strategies with business objectives. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to drive talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and organisational development initiatives. Your expertise in HR practices and your strategic mindset will contribute to the continued success of our executive search endeavours.
Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition: Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs, conduct comprehensive searches, and facilitate the recruitment process for executive-level positions.
Employee Engagement: Foster a positive work environment by implementing initiatives that enhance employee morale, satisfaction, and retention. Communicate business changes, engaging with marketing. Heavily involved in career mapping and ensuring 1:1’s are conducted and recorded.
Performance Management: Oversee performance processes, provide guidance on performance improvement plans, and support managers in addressing performance issues effectively.
Organisational Development: Collaborate with leadership to assess organisational needs, design development programs, and facilitate change management initiatives.
Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, offering guidance on HR policies, conflict resolution, and compliance matters.
HR Metrics and Reporting: Analyse HR data to identify trends, measure the effectiveness of HR programs, and provide insights to inform decision-making.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, stay abreast of legislative changes and proactively address any compliance concerns.
HR Projects: Lead or contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee experience through efficient and effective processes, policies, and systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD) is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on business partnering and strategic HR management. Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software applications. CPD in Employee Relations/Law Joining external Groups and HR networks to understand industry trends and legislative changes. Desirable: Ideally you would have experience of working in a Founder-led, fast-paced, PE-backed environment.
