Job DescriptionKennedyPearce consulting are partnering with a retail company to appoint a HR Business Partner based in the Crawley area on a permanent basis.This role offers hybrid working (3 days per week in the office) and reports into the Head of HR.The RoleThe HR Business Partner will act as a trusted partner and coach to our operational areas of the business, supporting them to drive the achievement of People KPI’s through their teams.You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and the broader HR team to formulate and implement HR strategies and initiatives.You will be on hand to advise, guide and support managers, and where required take a lead role in the process of organisational change, including business restructure, redundancies, TUPE transfers and acquisitions.Providing advice and support to managers throughout the employee life cycle covering areas such as performance management, employee relations, talent management, succession planning, as well as engagement and wellbeing.Skills requiredIdeally you will have a solid grasp of employment law, especially in areas such as absence management, disciplinary procedures, and handling grievances.You will be accustomed to collaborating with essential stakeholders and actively guiding managers and leaders on various aspects of people management, leadership, and development.Experienced in supporting the delivery of change management, you’ll be used to creating stakeholder communications and delivering HR related projects (cross-functionally if applicable), aligned to the business strategy.With this understanding you will use your ability to generate insight from a variety of data sources to produce reports and advise managers on topics including absence statistics, salary information, pay benchmarking.Qualifications & Experience:Ideally hold a CIPD level 5 or have relevant hands-on experienceWorked as a HR Advisor, Generalist or Business Partner within a fast-paced people centric environmentExperience of supporting wider HR activities such as L&D, Reward & Recognition, and RecruitmentExperience of driving a team to achieve SLA’sBenefitsBonus, Private Medical Insurance, Free parking, flexible working and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
