HR Advisor
Nottingham
Up to £40,000 + bonus
Full time & Permanent
Our client based centrally in Nottingham are a market leader in their professional services market and due to growth are looking to add to their large and successful team of HR Advisors.
This organisation absolutely pride themselves on nurturing talent and can offer a clear progression structure up to senior management/deputy director level with the option to support you on further training such as CIPD Level 7.
Working in the team providing businesses with a HR consultancy service you will be aligned with businesses operating within the public sector industry offering a full consultancy service with duties including:
HR Advise which is logical and specifically tailored to the individual organisations polices and procedures complying with employment law and compliance
on complex employee relations cases
with project and organisational change management
with TUPE, Acquisition & Merger enquiries
general advise on contract T&C’s e.g. flexible working requests, maternity & paternity leave
excellent relationships with clients at all levels to senior leadership team
in writing and updating policies and procedures
client site visits to help with HR matters face to face
This is a full time permanent position working 37.5 hours Monday to Friday and offers hybrid working with 2-3 days at Nottingham site and occasional Midlands travel.
For this role we are looking for highly experienced HR advisors who either have a consultancy or in-house background and have supported on complex employee relations cases within the Education, public sector or similar industry. You will thrive working in high volume fast paced environments and feel comfortable adapting to many different situations through a working day where you could be handling multiple cases at one time.
You will have an expert understanding of UK employment law and a CIPD level 5 or equivalent qualification is essential or you will be working towards this due to complete in the near future.
You will have a thorough understanding of employment contracts, have experience in policy management and have some exposure to organisational change projects.
