Role Overview
We are seeking an Early Careers Development Advisor to join the team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our organisation by spearheading the design and delivery of a new apprenticeship programme. Working closely with a collaborative team, you will have the opportunity to partner across all areas of the firm, engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including managing partners and the C-suite.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of our new apprenticeship program, from design to delivery
Provide pastoral care and support to early careers professionals, including trainees and apprentices, addressing any employee relations (ER) issues and facilitating reasonable adjustments for personal issues
Support seat allocations and secondments for the early careers population
Demonstrate gravitas to build and lead programs effectively, with the ability to be proactive, think on your feet, and run with initiatives
Develop and execute project plans, networking effectively across the firm and work closely with senior leadership
Up manage responsibilities, showing autonomy and the ability to handle tasks without constant supervision
Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role: it is essential to have experience within a law firm or professional services firm
L&D/HR generalist background: with a good understanding of employee relations and HR processes
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships: with stakeholders at all levels, including managing partners and the C-suite
Strong presentation skills: with the ability to effectively communicate ideas to diverse audiences
Excellent organisational and project management skills: with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
A proactive approach: with the ability to think on your feet and take initiative to drive positive change within the organisation
