HSQE Advisor
Location: Basingstoke / Site travel across Wessex, Sussex & Kent. Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 negotiable dependant on level of experience plus package
Company Information:
A multi-disciplinary railway turnkey business, capable of undertaking a wide variety of rail projects, from solution recommendations to complete design and construction is looking to hire a Health & Safety Advisor to join their team covering sites in the North or England.
Requirements for the Health & Safety Advisor
- NEBOSH General Certificate (Essential) - Site background - Willing to travel to site - Experience in Rail / construction Industry (Experience in the rail sector desirable) - PTS ideally - A sound knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001 - Ability to adapt ideas and approaches to suit changing priorities or solutions - Well organised, diplomatic, proactive, assertive and well-disciplined
Preferred Requirements for the HSEQ Advisor
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent level H&S qualification - Auditor qualifications - IEMA/CQI membership - CSCS
Main Duties for the Health & Safety Advisor
- Provide Health & Safety support to Rail Sector projects - Assist in the development of Health & Safety related documentation including CPP, WPP, TBS, RAMS - Promoting the awareness of Health & Safety issues and activities across the projects - Receive, review and disseminate Health & Safety information - Organisation of investigations into incidents and accidents, reporting of conclusions and implement corrective actions as necessary - Maintain liaison with Trackwork Clients, Network Rail, Enforcement Agencies and Third Parties on Health & Safety issues - Support the Head of Health & Safety in developing Health & Safety Strategies and maintaining third party accreditations - Take stewardship of the internal and external audit program and support area offices in respect to third party audits
