About the role
Reporting to the HSEQ Assurance Manager, the HSEQ Systems Engineer shall be responsible for the maintenance and administration of the Integrated Management Systems (IMS) used within the business.Flogas Britain are in the process of enhancing the current quality, environmental and health & safety management systems which is a significant project and will ultimately lead to the IMS being aligned with external management system standards. This is a new and exciting role with the opportunity for development and growth, whilst supporting the HSEQ Assurance Manager with the maintenance of existing systems, the role will also support the development of the IMS.Document Control is at the core of this role, managing change requests, monitoring document review cycles and liaising with document owners to ensure timely review and updates. Ensuring latest documentation is uploaded to the company SharePoint hub and distributed to depots where required.The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and will be expected to facilitate the company’s management of change process, which involves effective communication between various parties within the business and coordination of records (i.e. schematics, drawings, technical assessments, etc.) to ensure the process has been followed.Maintaining the company’s list of approved subcontractors is also an important requirement to this role, which will require the successful candidate to be able to register new submissions and assist the HSEQ Assurance Manager in conducting initial and periodic reviews of our supply chain.This role also includes the coordination of HSEQ compliance documentation for depots, including asbestos surveys, fire risk assessments, legionella risk assessments, etc., identifying gaps, renewals and liaising with other members in the HSEQ Team to schedule production and log any corrective actions.The role will also monitor a number of business metrics and produce reports based on analysis of metric performance and status. In connection with this, the role will also monitor closure of audit findings and report outstanding actions.
What you will be doing
• Monitoring and tracking controlled IMS documentation, liaising with relevant parties to plan and ensure timely updates, issuing regular reports on system status.• Reviewing standard operating procedures to analyse and report against adequate supporting risk assessments.• Facilitating the company’s management of change process to ensure effective stakeholder engagement and follow-up of necessary records.• Ensuring that latest copies of IMS documentation is maintained on the SharePoint hub, archiving obsolete documents and maintaining records of version history.• Preparation and issue of controlled depot IMS Manuals.
