Skilltech Resourcing are currently recruiting for a HSEQ officer for their client in the Widnes area, an integral role within a manufacturing business operating across a range of industrial sectors.
As a HSEQ officer you will: -
- Support the directors in maintaining and improving HSEQ systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
- Provide HSEQ guidance and support to the operational teams promoting best practices and risk management.
- Monitor and deliver HSEQ training programs for all staff and conduct inductions/ issue and record PPE etc.
- Assist with incident investigations, identify root causes and corrective actions.
- Prepare HSEQ reports for directors.
- Maintain company systems and procedures with all new legislation/ developments in health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
We are looking for a HSEQ office with the following: -
- IOSH or NEBOSH (or working towards NEBOSH).
- An understanding of HSEQ legislation.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment – steel fabrication or sheet metal and advantage.
- Familiarisation with ISO auditing.
A permanent position that could suit a HSEQ graduate with some relevant experience and looking to further develop their career within manufacturing.
Salary up to £30,000.
25 days holiday per year plus statutory bank holidays.
Day shift Monday to Friday (38.5 hours).
