Hours: Full Time - 40 hours - Monday to Friday Creating and maintaining great places to live and work delivered by excellent people who care… Purpose of Role We are recruiting for an experienced HSE Advisor with proven expertise working on commercial construction projects. This is a role dedicated to our Technical Facilities MOD multi-site contract covering the South East. Job Description The HSE Advisor will take lead on HSE meetings with our client, providing HSE expertise and guidance on incidents or events. They will be responsible for assisting our operational team by seeking to minimise risks and providing advice whilst creating, maintaining, and improving the health, safety, and environmental standards. The successful candidate must be happy to travel across a large portfolio of military sites and have proven advisory experience. Responsibilities • Attending monthly HSE meetings on behalf HSE Director and deal with ongoing issues• Ensuring compliance with HS&E legislation and health, safety and environmental requirements• Producing reports and identify remedial action, ensuring effective implementation of HSE Management Systems• Auditing the permit to work processes and COSHH assessments• Undertaking Incident Investigations• Reviewing risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work• Monitoring HSE standards across the Contract, identify & implement improvements Essential Qualifications/Skills • Held a similar advisory position• Previously worked in a engineering or construction environment• Experience of delivering HSE training to operational staff• Proven knowledge of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality processes and legislation• IOSH or NEBOSH Certified• Must have worked in the UK for the last 5 years to clear vetting In return for your hard work we offer additional training and development, 26 days holiday (+ bank holidays), generous pension contribution, life assurance and much more.We are VINCI Facilities – experts in the built environment.
