Monday to Friday.HSE OFFICER ROLE AVAILABLE WITHIN A HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL MANUFACTURER WHO HAVE A GLOBAL PRESENCE AND ARE WELL RESPECTED WITHIN THEIR NICHE INDUSTRYThe role would suit health and safety professionals transferring from ANY manufacturing background. HSE Officers from a foundry or heavy industrial environment will have a considerable advantage. The successful candidate must have a degree level Diploma in Health and Safety or equivalent and be certified IOSH member.Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be working closely with the senior management team to maintain the current high level of HSE and engagement on site. You will have 2 direct reports and work closely with them on a day to day basis. You will be the example on site for safety and work with the shop floor operations to lead and champion the safety strategy. You will ultimately be responsible for ensuring the site is legally complaint which includes monitoring changes in local legislation and implementing procedural/process changes where necessary. The role requires the successful applicant to also organise HSE training for employees, contractor management and independently hosting health and safety committee meetings.This is a fantastic opportunity for a HSE Officer to work within a state of the art facility and a great team environment.
