Our client, a reputable manufacturer with an international presence, is looking for a HSE Advisor. This newly created position is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative business with strong core values and an excellent reputation for being a great employer.

As a HSE Advisor you'll champion a positive culture of Health & Safety across the business and use your expertise to provide solutions, advice, and support to the wider teams. This exciting opportunity involves working with a diverse range of departments to ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, Food Safety, Risk, Business Continuity and Environmental Policies.

The Job:

  • Provide comprehensive Health, Safety & Environmental guidance and training.
  • Stay updated on legal obligations, industry standards, and best practices, and communicate changes effectively.
  • Enhance the audit system tailored to the design consultancy's activities.
  • Analyse and report on identified risk trends at the site.
  • Offer support for ISO45001 and 14001 compliances.
  • Ensure compliance with the Global Health, Safety & Environment Management System.
  • Advise on management systems, policies, and procedures, and assist in external audits.
  • Participate in corporate Health, Safety & Environment improvement initiatives.
  • Support Environmental initiatives, including waste and energy reduction.
  • Lead root cause analysis sessions as needed.
  • Manage onsite administration and data for the HSE management system.
  • Foster a positive safety culture throughout the workforce.
  • Assist with projects and campaigns under HSE manager's guidance.
  • Conduct internal meetings, presentations, and other appropriate duties as needed.

What You'll Need:

  • Experience and knowledge of Health & Safety practices within Food Manufacturing.
  • Experience of conducting Health & Safety meetings.
  • Passion for Heath & Safety.
  • NEBOSH Qualification.
  • Drive and ability challenge and senior level.
