HSE Manager

My client is a specialist within the marine industry. Due to ongoing success, they are looking for an HSE Manager to ensure that Health, Safety & Environmental is at the core of the company. The ideal candidate will have HSE Management experience and be proficient with document control, procedures and internal audits. You must also be based within commutable distance of Liphook and have a driving licence.

HSE Manager Position Overview

• Actively engaging with all levels of management at all stages of the process
• Promoting a culture where safety, health and environmental considerations are integrated into everyday processes
• Carrying out and analysing inspections and audits at the region's vessel site
• Assessing the competence of contractors who work on site
• Evaluating essential risk assessments and method statements in association with operations staff
• Liaising with enforcing authorities as required
• Producing and issuing regular safety reports
• Being a pro-active member of the national Health and Safety team and supporting and developing national safety management systems
• Mainly working in the office but occasional site visits are required

HSE Manager Position Requirements

• Must have excellent document control and procedures
• Must have experience with internal audits
• NEBOSH qualified is essential
• LOLER qualification beneficial
• Health and safety management within the marine industry is highly beneficial, however other backgrounds will be considered
• Sound knowledge of HSE legislation
• Based within commutable distance of Liphook
• Full UK Driving Licence

HSE Manager Position Remuneration

• Salary �40,000 - �45,000
• 22 day's holiday plus Bank Holidays
• 3% pension to start, increasing 1% every year up to 8%
• Yearly bonus based on company performance
• Free onsite parking
• Hours Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 with 30 minute lunch
