HSE Manager

Are you an experienced HSE Manager? Do you have experience in the food industry? If so, our client, a�food manufacturing business, is recruiting for a�HSE Manager for their site in Staffordshire. This role will include providing a service to the site covering all aspects of Health & Safety and Environmental management, training, and general site services. Providing technical expertise in Health & Safety and Environmental management to members of management and employees.

HSE Manager - Key Responsibilities

• Support Factory Management as the lead & coordinator for Health & Safety and Environmental activities on the site, advising management on legal requirements, industry best practice and standards.
• Drive the Safety and Environmental agenda incorporating training, accident investigation, culture and staff involvement, administration, insurance compliance, setting and improving standards.
• Drive culture change and reinforcement of good safety and Environmental cultures.
• Coordinate accident investigation processes, recording and reporting industrial injuries as required.
• Review, update and maintain Site Health & Safety, Environmental Policy & procedures manuals taking account of industry best practice.

HSE Manager - Key Skills

• NEBOSH (Level 3 minimum)
• Food Safety Hygiene Level 3
• Hold Environmental Certification
• Previous experience leading and developing teams
