What will the role involve?

• Overseeing all HSE aspects for the business, across two manufacturing sites
• Ensuring the HSE Management System is fit for purpose and complies with ISO standards, legal requires and best practice guidelines
• Carrying out day to day duties such as risk assessments, reporting of incidents / near misses and delivering/ arranging necessary training and inductions for staff and external contractors
• Developing and improving site safety training such as permit-to-work, contractor HSE and any Life Saving Rules
• Further promoting onsite HSE awareness and fostering a strong HSE culture across the business
• Managing the ISO 14001 recertification for the business, driving fresh ideas and projects to support the company's Environmental and Sustainability aspirations
• Spearheading the management of change on HSE matters relating to an upcoming site relocation

Ideal Skills and Experience

• NEBOSH qualified, with proven experience as an HSE Manager
• Exposure to Manufacturing / Engineering operations
• Excellent working knowledge of ISO14001 management systems
• Track record of leading sustainability / environmental initiatives
• Passion for identifying and implementing continuous improvements
• Honed stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
• Previous line management experience with skills in coaching / mentoring
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, changeable environment

Remuneration

�45,000 - �50,000 plus Benefits Package
