BMR Solutions are currently looking to recruit for a HSE Manager (FMCG) in Ulverston.Job Title: HSE Manager (FMCG)Contract:PermanentRate/Salary: Up to £38,000 DOE + Bonus + Holidays + Bank Holidays + Pension + Discounted ProductsHours:Days, 40 hours per weekJOB SPECIFICATION:HSE Manager required for a well established, successful manufacturer who supply to a global market. This is a fantastic opportunity to be the sole H&S representative across 2 sites, grow a HSE department and to assist with the implementation of ISO 14001 and other continuous improvement projects.The role would suit, H&S professionals, HSE Managers who have previous experience within manufacturing or production facilities. Applicants will ideally be NEBOSH or IOSH qualified and must be prepared to have complete responsibility of Health and Safety across a busy environment. Applicants must be up to date with legal compliance.The role will involve spearheading Health, Safety and Environmental Practices across the site. You will be responsible for writing policy, updating policy and communicating changes from entry level to director level. You will ensure all employees are H&S trained/inducted and you will coach, train and influence practices to minimize risk.
