Principal People are delighted to be recruiting for an international manufacturing company to help recruit for a HSE Advisor to join their growing business.The HSE Advisor will be based out of Shifnal with responsibility in an operational and varied role working closely with the wider team.The HSE Advisor will be responsible for Safety across their designated site and be required to work onsite, with the occasional option of hybrid working at the discretion of the HSE Manager who this position will be reporting to.HSE Advisor Up to GBP45,000 - Manufacturing Shifnal ID: (phone number removed)Why should you apply?

As the HSE Advisor you will be responsible for:
Investigating accidents and investigations and working on a solution to reduce the risk of these reoccurring. Carrying out ISO audits for the site to comply with industry regulations and internal policies and procedures Carrying out risk assessments, COSH assessments and method statements. Working with the site operational team to implement a proactive strategy for Health and Safety alongside the HSE Manager Creating policies and procedures for the site in order to make continuous improvements. Being a presence on site and provide professional health and safety technical support and advice to the wider business Developing and delivering the strategic business objectives to drive success through learning and development, leadership and Health and Safety strategies. Maintaining and developing the Health and Safety systems and processes ensuring the business remains compliant.
The Successful HSE Advisor will hold:
NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) Experience within an operational HSE position within the manufacturing or engineering industries A drive to continually develop their skill set within the health and safety space
