Astute's EPC Power team is partnering with a leading EPC Contractor within the UK Power Industry to recruit a HSE Advisor on a 6 month contract basis for its Open Cycle Gas Turbine project based in Eye, Suffolk
The HSE Advisor role comes with a day rate of �350.00 to �380.00 per day.
Key skills and responsibilities:
  • The ability to establish a rapport with all levels of management and safety representatives.
  • Able to carry out effective investigations, audits, inspections and compile reports and recommendations as appropriate.
  • To carry out audits of safe working procedures. Be able to write permits.
  • Monitoring legislative and policy changes and their impact on our organisation its members and the industry as a whole
  • PC literate with a good level of spreadsheet knowledge.
  • Strong ability to influence others.
  • Ability to understand the key issues in complex situations.
  • Ability to work to deadlines, prioritize workload and meet targets.
  • IOSH accreditation (chartered level preferred).
  • NEBOSH Occupational Health and Safety Qualificaton
  • CSCS card
  • CDM knowledge is an essential requirement for this role.
