HSE Recruitment Network are currently representing an impressive global manufacturing organisation, specialising the production of beverages which include iconic brands. This company is looking for a up and coming �HSE Advisor to join the team and help support a heritage, complex, single manufacturing site.

Salary, �35,000 - �42,000 per annum (could be flexible depending on experience)

Due to an internal promotion, my client is seeking a junior Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional to support the onsite HSE Manager. The ideal candidate would be passionate and engaging in their approach, able to lead with positive mindset, support change management, problem solve, develop procedures, and promote effective, positive culture and behaviours. This position will be well supported from the wider organisation and onsite but will require the successful candidate to be very hands on, approachable and engaging.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that the requirements of all relevant HSE legislation are up to date and followed and that the business complies with corporate and legal requirements at all times.
  • Implement and nourish a positive and constructive safety culture and ensure it is supported at all levels of the workforce across the site
  • Deliver continuous improvement in Health, Safety and Environment standards and practices year on year.
  • Support the HSE manager with some exciting projects and also spearheading campaigns across this site
  • Support the HSE Committee on site
  • Help to support stakeholders, influence and engage middle management to ensure HSE continues to be a number one priority
  • Run and present internal meetings
  • Support the site in achieving ISO 45001 accreditation

Essential experience, training and qualifications:
  • NEBOSH Certificate is essential
  • Prior Safety, Health and Environmental experience at advisor level, manufacturing experience, ideally within a fast paced environment like Food and Beverage.
  • Experience with wider manufacturing, distribution, logistics and wider production will be considered, if relevant.
