Are you a qualified HSE professional looking to progress your career in an exciting new direction by moving into the Renewable Energy sector with a company that has massive growth plans for the next few years?
This company specialises in the production of biogas through the process of anaerobic digestion at a large number of sites across Scotland. Now that they've established themselves as the leading producer of renewable fuels in Scotland, they're starting to go through the next phase of their growth which has seen them open up additional offices in London to support their growth into England as well as into other territories such as Europe and the USA. They are also beginning to expand into other areas of Renewable Energy such as Solar PV and Wind.
In this role you will be responsible for overseeing HSE compliance as well as implementing HSE policies and strategies at one of the company's main fuel production plants. This will entail duties such as monthly auditing, carrying out incident investigations and supporting with the delivery of relevant training.
The ideal candidate will hold a relevant H&S qualification such as NEBOSH or IOSH and will possess at least 3 years' experience in a similar role where they have also been involved with Environmental compliance and management.

The role:
* Working closely with company management to deliver QHSE strategy and compliance road map
* Developing, implementing and promoting high standards regarding HSE compliance
* Mentoring and coaching staff members on relevant issues, policies, procedures and responses
* Acting as point of contact with connected bodies e.g SEPA, HSE, IOSH
* Conducting monthly audits & inspections, reporting on findings and taking action where necessary
* Taking a leading role on accident investigations and near-miss incidents
The person:
* H&S qualification such as NEBOSH, IOSH or similar
* 3+ years' experience covering Health, Safety & Environmental compliance
* Previous auditing experience
* Full UK driving license
