A local authority client of mine are looking an Accountant to join then in the housing team. The contract is an initial 6-months and they can offer a remote working pattern. They require someone with at least 3 years local authority experience specific to HRA.

You will be responsible for:

• Supporting annual budgeting and financial planning for the Housing Department
• Monitoring the HRA budget, identifying variances, and recommending corrective actions
• Preparing financial reports and assisting with statutory accounts
• Maintaining financial records for the HRA
