We are currently partnering with one of our longstanding clients within the utilities industry who are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their HR team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The HR Business Partner will act as a strategic business partner with executive directors and senior leaders to shape and execute business strategy and drive the people agenda in accordance with the HR plan. They will operate as a trusted business partner and advisor with the credibility to influence thinking, challenge, shape and identify opportunities to add greater value.
Salary for this role is between GBP60,000 - GBP65,000 (potentially upwards of this DOE) in addition to a car allowance and a company performance bonus. Hybrid working is also offered with 3 days in the office or at a site, and 2 days working from home per week.
The HR Business Partner will be expected to travel to sites across the North West to meet with stakeholders, conduct meetings and be a visible member of the HR team. The sites include, but are not limited to; Manchester, Warrington, Blackburn, Stockport and Preston. Your base will be the Salford office.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with leaders at all levels, partnering with them to develop and influence the strategic people plan
Identify opportunities to lead and deliver on transformation and change initiatives
Create business improvements plans and cost efficiencies
Lead the development of a 'high performance culture' across the business
Provide coaching to leaders at all levels, enabling them to support their teams and bring about a culture of high performance
Influence and challenge directors and leaders to shape and bring to life the culture of inclusion, supporting the overall D&I strategy
Maximise succession planning and building recruitment retention strategies to minimise risk
Provide strategic input within the business to identify opportunities to design, drive and deliver changes
Analyse and report on monthly HRMI
Partner with the Head of Talent and Head of Reward to support the delivery of business and people agendas
Be a mentor to the HR Advisory Team, providing expert advice and support on complex ER matters
Be the true HR lead on HR projects
Requirements:
CIPD Level 7
Experience of leading large/complex transformation and change
Proven influencing and coaching skills
Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
Experience of partnering with those at Exec Director level
HR project management experience
Excellent HR and employment law knowledge
Experience of being a true HR Business Partner who has extensive experience of people planning in accordance with business plans
Commercially astute
