Anderson Knight is recruiting an HR Advisor for our client based in Glasgow on a full time permanent basis. Our client is a flexible employer and works to a hybrid model with 2 days per week spent in the office and 3 days working from home, there would also be some travel required to other offices within your assigned region.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to achieving HR objectives
Support with performance management, providing guidance on capability related casework and relevant policies.
Provide advice to line managers on policies and guidelines.
Maintain relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Support with key HR initiatives and projects
Identify discrepancies and implement necessary changes.
Provide HR advisory service on attendance, well-being, conduct, grievances, and disciplinaries
Provide advice and recommendations on sickness absence casework.
Assist with internal restructures and consultation processes.
Advise on TUPE matters to ensure diligence and adherence to process timescales.
Maintain harmonious employee relations through effective communication.
Ensure consistency of decision making and approach.
Improve HR service quality through innovative strategies for recruitment and retention.
Participate in the creation, implementation, and evaluation of HR policies and guidelines.
Skills and Knowledge:
Proven experience in a similar role
Experience of managing a high volume ER caseload
Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
Ability to analyse and interpret data.
Initiative, creativity, and innovation in tasks.
Strong relationship-building skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in office-related computer packages.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances.
Educational Qualifications:
Degree or professional qualification in HR or related discipline (desirable).
CIPD qualification (desirable).
